Massage

Massage is the practice of applying pressure or vibration to the soft tissues of the body, including the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and joints. A form of therapy, massage can be applied to individual parts of the body or successively to the whole body. It is used to heal injury, relieve psychological stress, manage pain, improve circulation & relieve tension. Where massage is used for its physical and psychological benefits, it may be termed 'therapeutic massage therapy' or 'manipulative therapy'.
I offer many different types of massage, mentioned below, but I also adapt the techniques and methods I have learnt from further training to ensure that I get the best possible results for the person and condition I am treating, which is why I am so successful in helping sort out so many painful problems.

Therapeutic Swedish Massage - Massage is one of the oldest, simplest forms of therapy. It can help relieve muscular aches and pains, reduce tension, headaches and stress, it aids relaxation, improves circulation and concentration, enhances skin tone, and promotes restful sleep.
Sports Remedial Massage - This therapy includes sports and remedial massage, lymphatic drainage and treatment of injuries. Various massage, manipulation and stretching techniques are used in the rehabilitation of soft tissue injuries, pre and post sports event, and for the prevention of everyday injuries, such as a bad back, neck or shoulder. A treatment suitable for everyone, not just those involved in sport. An ultrasound machine is often used to aid the healing process.

Indian Head Massage - A very relaxing seated shoulder, neck, face and scalp massage, which releases tension and stress. It is safe and non-intrusive and helps conditions such as aching neck and shoulders, headaches, migraines, sinus problems, eyestrain, insomnia, concentration difficulties, etc. It can be performed through clothes or with relaxing essential oils to make it an even more relaxing experience.
‘Mum’s To Be’ Massage - A wonderful relaxing massage working on the back, neck, shoulders, legs and scalp to help relieve the aches and pains of pregnancy. The massage is performed with you laying on either side whilst the back and legs are massaged then you are placed on your back to finish whilst the head, scalp and neck are massage.

It helps with a wide range of disorders including: headaches, migraines, sinus congestion, muscular pain, menstrual problems, IBS, constipation, tension, stress and much more.
