'healing hands (York)' has been established since 2004 and is based at Clifton Moor, York.  It  is run and owned by me,  Helen Morritt BSc (Hons), MAAC, MBAF.  Over the years I have built up a successful business with a good reputation, offering a wide range of treatments including reflexology and many different types of massage.  The majority of my work seems to be sorting out soft tissue injuries and problems and I'm proud to say that I've often been able to help reduce or even completely eliminate many painful problems where other therapists have failed.   

I am delighted to now add acupuncture to the range of treatments I offer, having completed a 3 year BSc (Hons) degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the prestigious Northern College of Acupuncture, which means that I am able to help a wider range of people as the list of conditions that acupuncture can help is impressive, see the Acupuncture page for more details or visit the Evidence Based Acupuncture website.

I originally started training in 1998 and since then I have done numerous courses over the years to further my knowledge and skills.   It is a requirement that I do Continued Professional Development (CPD) and I regularly attend webinars and workshops  on specific specialist areas to help broaden my experience and knowledge which allows me to offer you a much more unique and beneficial treatment, especially when trying to resolve specific problems.

I have many qualifications including:
First class BSc (hons) degree in Acupuncture,  Diplomas in Sports Massage Therapy Level 3, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Body Massage & Anatomy & Physiology Level 3,
